Each Storage that is connected to the network increases energy storage capacity by 20.
With extra storage, you can act quicker after you have been strike severely. It allows you to rapidly rebuild. Handy when you weren't expecting hits, or expect damage (like air strike countdowns).
Defenses[]
Like all production structures, Storages have little structural integrity; even a glancing blow from Creeper would cause one to destabilize and collapse.
